On the sixth edition of the international ’What Design Can Do’ conference SILO and The Association of Dutch Designers BNO will present a breakout session. The venue for WDCD 2016, Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, gives reason to another theme, exploring design’s contribution to music. SILO and BNO compiled the perfect playlist of inspiring talks for a pleasant break between the morning and afternoon sessions of the first WDCD conference day, june 30th.
Come and shuffle through our set of stories on DESIGN, MUSIC and IDENTITY. How design makes you experience music and the other way around…how designers combine careers with their alter egos as a musician. Let’s see how designers and music venues can create synergy in branding and programming. Or how design can save the music industry in these times of digital distress.
Discuss, listen, move and be moved. Moderated by Jeroen van Erp – professor of Concept Design at Delft University, innovation strategist, designer, and former A&R Manager at The Syndicate of Melodies.
