SILO will develop a brand strategy and visual identity for the new museum Boerhaave.
Boerhaave Museum is the Dutch National Museum of the history of science and medicine. The Times stated Boerhaave Museum – the only Dutch heritage museum – in their list of ’50 Best Museums of the World’, and wrote: “This is one of the Most Important scientific and medical history collections in the world.”
The museum is located in the historic center of Leiden in a monumental building from 1440. At present, the former convent building will be completely renovated. The museum uses this opportunity to organize the presentation of the permanent collection, and also to renew the brand positioning.
