Silo creates User Centered webshop for FuturumShop

FuturumShop is the largest online shop in the Netherlands for cyclists, mountainbikers, runners, triathletes and outdoor athletes. The company stands for highend products and good service. SILO sets out for a major improvement of the webshop’s user experience and conversion. Having recently redesigned the Centralpoint webshop, Silo has a track record in this area. SILO is, as we speak, creating a user centered webshop for Futurumshop. Dennis Flinterman: “It’s a great challenge to again work on a webshop with such a large and varied pallet of products, after the biggest ICT supplier in the Netherlands, we are now going to work with the largest webshop in sports equipment.”


The company is founded on a passion for cycling. Since its establishment in 1999, the company has a strong focus on online. FuturumShop at this moment is active internationally, has three physical stores (clubs) and has famous ambassadors such as professional racing cyclist Maarten Tjallingii.

Innovation & Character

FuturumShop is at the forefront of innovation and has a strong character. They use bike delivery for their products in major cities, and provide same day delivery service. In addition, the brand also has its own clothing line in highend active wear and has also has physical clubs where customers not only come to buy bicycles, clothes or accessories, but can also come to meet fellow sports fans for a coffee or to finetune their bikes.
