SILO wins Red Dot Award for Zaans Medical Center

Today in Berlin, SILO received the Red Dot Award for the design of a healing environment in the Zaans Medical Center.

The Red Dot Awards are prizes for exceptional communication design. SILO won the award in the Spatial Design and Orientation category. The jury received over 8000 entries from 50 countries this year. On behalf of SILO, Sjanet Benschop and Jan Roelof de Vries were present to receive the award during the spectacular award show in Berlin Konzerthaus. The Healing Environment includes spatial design and signage designed to make the hospital an environment where it is comfortable to stay. An environment that furthermore makes an optimal contribution to the recovery of patients.


Previously, SILO received awards from the Art Directors Club of New York (ADC awards), a Yellow Pencil of British Design and Art Direction (D & AD) and various European Design Awards for the Zaans Medical Center.
