Rene Toneman joins ADC Awards jury

Rene Toneman, creative director of SILO, will take part in the professional jury for Experiential Design of the 97th Art Directors Club (ADC) Awards in New York. Together with an international group of inspiring creative leaders, he will be responsible for awarding the work that meets the highest standards for craft, design and innovation worldwide.

Experiential Design focuses on creations that must be experienced rather than simply observed. The entries are often technologically innovative and may vary from elaborate exhibitions to architecture and interior design, from wayfaring to placemaking, and even VR/AR experiences. The designs that offer the best and most immersive sensory experience, will be selected as winners.

For almost a century, the internationally renowned ADC Awards have been honoring the very best in meticulous craftsmanship in the worlds of design, advertising and other commercial creative arts. In 2017, SILO was one of the big prize winners of the ADC Awards, with two ‘gold cubes’ and a Designism Cube for Zaans Medical Center.

The deadline for submitting projects for the ADC Awards is January 31, 2018.
