With the brand identity for Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, SILO has been selected as a finalist in two categories of the influential Art Directors Club (ADC) Awards. For almost a century, the Cubes – as the awards are called – have been the reliable industry barometer for where craft will lead us in the years to come.
The strategy and visual identity that SILO developed intrigues and invites you to discover. The scientific processes of looking differently are conceptualized in visual experiments. 3D software was used to cast a new light on a variety of themes by transforming, distorting and converting imagery.
At last year’s edition of the ADC Awards, SILO won two golden Cubes for Zaans Medical Center, as well as the prestigious Designism Cube. The ADC Designism Cube acknowledges work that not only meets peerless creative standards, but also encourages positive societal and political change.
The winners of the 97th annual edition of the ADC Awards will be announced in New York on Monday, May 7, 2018. The project has also been nominated for the ADCN Awards.
