Sjoerd Koopmans, Design Lead at SILO, will give the closing keynote during Digitial Deco Day at the Evoluon in Eindhoven on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
Digitial Deco Day is an annual event about the growing possibilities to digitally print elements of the interior. The conference is organized by Stylink and SignPro Benelux and aims to remove the barriers between design and technology.
Participants of the day will be inspired by the possibilities to create unique interiors under the direction of designers and interior architects. Digital tools give designers more freedom, while digital printing technology makes it possible for manufacturing companies to deliver tailor-made solutions at significantly lower costs.
In his keynote, Sjoerd will speak about the development of impactful spatial identities. By focussing on people, projects such as Zaans Medical Center and the Delfland Water Authority offer a unique user experience. The combination of the craftsmanship of analog illustrations and the latest software tools results in innovative ‘high-craft’ projects.
