The fourth edition of It’s all Graphic will take place at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam on Thursday, November 15, 2018. For this edition, the focus will be on visual identity development. Dennis Flinterman, managing director of Silo, will be one of the speakers.
The fields of graphic design and the visual design sector are changing rapidly due to technological development, making the distinctions between the disciplines to become more and more blurred. With the fast-paced digital distribution of messages and vastly increased reach, how do you ensure the quality of a visual identity? And how do organizations, marketers, and designers find inventive new ways to align their message with their brand.
Dennis will present the brand identity Silo developed for Rijksmuseum Boerhaave. It aims to intrigue and invites visitors to discover by visualizing the scientific process is optical experiments. The museum’s brand identity can be used in numerous different ways, but always remains recognizable to the public.
Other speakers include Roel Stavorinus, who recently published the book Logo x Logo, Claire Parker from Design Bridge, Eric de Haas from HeyHeydeHaas and Henk Haaima from Mirabeau.
It’s All Graphic is a coproduction between Wim Crouwel Instituut and Pakhuis de Zwijger. The event is pay-as-you-like, but registration is required. Interested but unable to attend? Watch the video registration.
