Amsterdam Science Park: European Hub for Digital Innovation & Sustainability

Silo will advise Amsterdam Science Park on its online strategy and develop a new website. Amsterdam Science Park is home to the largest concentration of knowledge institutions in the Netherlands and is promoted as ‘The European Hub for Digital Innovation & Sustainability’.

With world-class research institutes, universities and some 150 businesses, Amsterdam Science Park is an important center for beta-science, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The park is home to AMS-IX, the world’s largest data transport hub. Other big names are the National Institute for Subatomic Physics (NIKHEF), AMOLF, Amsterdam University College, EGI (European Grid Initiative), Commit, Equinix AM3 Data Center, and Vancis. Being located at Amsterdam Science Park is a quality indicator for innovative companies.

Amsterdam Science Park is in constant development. The renewed online communication and website aim to strengthen the park’s international profile and to improve name-recognition among local, regional and international R&D companies. The communication strategy underlines the added value for companies looking to collaborate with institutes at the park or locate their business there.

Silo has a strong affinity with research, science and science-based start-ups and developed brand and digital identities for two organizations based at Amsterdam Science Park: Netherlands eScience Center and Aigency.
