Orange Olive is a catering business for ‘pure’ and ‘honest’ food. To emphasise the position as a quality caterer an event concept was created in close collaboration with Orange Olive. Main goal: to let the target audience experience the products and services of Orange Olive in a tangible way.
Previously, SILO developed the successful Orange Olive brand.
We are becoming more aware of what we eat daily. We prefer locally grown products instead of top macro industry. Increasingly, we want to know how ingredients are growing and where they come from. Pure Taste Diners wants to reduce the distance between man and food in a culinary way.
Guests are brought closer to the origin of flavourful ingredients with a unique dining experience on site. A long dining table with good stories, inspiring talks, interesting companionship, refined and sophisticated cuisine surrounded by the source of our food.
Every Puur Smaak Diner is meant to be a unique experience, and therefore only organised once per setting. The first series Pure Taste Diners were joined by Michelin star chef Niven Kunz, and held on unique locations like a Prominent tomato greenhouse, bio dynamic cow and sheep farm Hoeve Biesland and the greenhouse of Westland Strawberry.
Inspired by the Year of the Historic Country Estate in 2012, the second series Pure Taste Diners were devoted to Dutch glory. On a beautiful old landscape park ‘Huys Ten Donck’ every diner was collaborated with another Michelin star chef including Edwin Vinke (theme fish, lobster and shellfish), Jef Schuur (Texel lamb) and Jan Klerque (theme cheese).
Pure Taste Diners proved to have a positive effect on the brand experience of Orange Olive. The demand for quality catering increased despite the crisis and the cyclically sensitive market.
Due to increasing interest and demand several Pure Taste Dinners will be organised annually, at various locations depending on current events and season.
