The 2009 Festival celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Netherlands’ standard bearer of the dance: the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT). Besides an international platform to present the diverse facets of the art of dance, the Holland Dance Festival will be a reunion of former dancers and choreographers of the NDT, gathering in The Hague from all over the world.
Silo created a campaign identity showing the aspect of this reunion of talents. The blue dots represent this 50 years celebration, and can be seen as a metaphor for the NDT dance DNA spreading the world. The variations of the fluorescent graphics give a celebratory, dynamic image of the 2009 Festival. All kinds of promotion material was designed, including multiple series of posters, a website, flags, flyers and a festival brochure as the main objects.
